The competition requires contestants to build the robot from the supplied kit, master operation of and program the robot as required and complete the challenge successfully. Teams were&nbsp;tasked with moving balls into any of three scoring \nzones. The object was&nbsp;to score as many points as possible during a \ntwo-minute autonomous and operator control round.<\/p><p><strong>The Round: <\/strong>The\n competing robot will begin the round located completely inside the \nstarting triangle created by the blue floor tiles. For the first 60 \nseconds of the round, the robot operates completely autonomously. Using \nsensors and pre-programmed instructions, the robot must attempt to \nstrategically move the balls into any scoring area. During the next 60 \nseconds of the round, drivers take control of the robot.
